Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Book Meh platform ("Platform"), operated within the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Book Meh.

2. Description of Service

Book Meh is a lead generation and marketing platform that connects users seeking services with independent service providers. The Platform provides:

• A marketplace for users to submit service requests
• Tools for service providers to display their information, portfolio, and credentials
• Communication facilitation between users and providers
• AI-powered matching algorithms to connect requests with suitable providers

Book Meh does NOT provide, perform, supervise, or guarantee any services offered by service providers. We are solely a technology platform facilitating introductions.

3. Disclaimer of Liability

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Any contract or agreement for services is solely between you and the service provider
• Book Meh is not a party to any transaction between users and providers
• We do not verify the accuracy of provider credentials, licenses, or insurance
• We are not responsible for any injury, property damage, financial loss, or other harm arising from services rendered
• Disputes between users and providers must be resolved directly between those parties

4. User Responsibilities

For Users:

• Verify provider credentials, licenses, and insurance independently before engaging services
• Conduct your own due diligence on providers
• Ensure all agreements with providers are documented in writing
• Report any fraudulent or suspicious activity to Book Meh immediately

For Service Providers:

• Maintain all required licenses, permits, and insurance for your trade or profession
• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information in your profile
• Comply with all applicable laws of Trinidad and Tobago
• Deliver services professionally and as represented
• Handle all user interactions and disputes professionally

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Book Meh, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Platform
• Any services provided or received through connections made on the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Any content you submit to the Platform

6. Intellectual Property & Content License

By submitting any content to the Platform (including but not limited to text, images, reviews, portfolio items, and profile information), you grant Book Meh a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to:

• Use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content
• Create derivative works from such content
• Display and perform such content publicly
• Use such content for commercial purposes, marketing, and promotional activities
• Use such content for research, development, and improvement of our services
• Use aggregated and anonymized data derived from your content for analytics and business purposes

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE LAWS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, BOOK MEH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Platform
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform
• Any content obtained from the Platform
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

In no event shall Book Meh's total liability exceed the amount you paid to Book Meh in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or One Thousand Trinidad and Tobago Dollars (TTD $1,000), whichever is less.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, without regard to conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Trinidad and Tobago, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

9. No Warranty

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. BOOK MEH DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Termination

Book Meh reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

11. Modifications to Terms

Book Meh reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
